Abstract
The problem presented here relates to the control of flexible mechanical systems. It involves the modeling of the hydraulic oscillation system of a continuous casting ingot mould and implementing a control law capable of wiping out the effects of resonating modes disruptive and detrimental to the good functioning of the installation.
