Abstract
This paper deals with dynamic modelling of self-excited induction generator connected to a supply system through a DC link (converterline commutated inverter) and digital control design for regulating the power transfer through the link. Using different sampling rates for the converter and inverter control loops, the proposed design ensures reduced reactive power burden on the induction generator. Results of implementation on a laboratory system are given.
