Abstract
Starting from a global RF emission/reception model built up with the behavioural software SABER, we compared the performance of the delay locked loop (DLL) with two different architectures (i.e., baseband and intermediate frequency (IF)). This analysis highlights the impact of the DLL advance/delay shift (/spl Delta/) and that of IF values on the DLL performance.
