Abstract
Kuala Village consists of Merlung District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province, most of the population of around 1,012 people are Malays. From the results of a survey of 1,012 residents, 99.09% do not know how to provide life support and fire disaster management, 0.1% are health workers who only know how to help disasters related to forest fires, but do not know how to triage forest fire victims. This study aims to determine the effect of the disaster management simulation model in Kuala Dasal Village, Merlung District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Jambi Province. The research design is a case study, using The Crunch and refense models. The sampling technique used is quota sampling with 100 respondents as the research sample. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge, attitudes and psychomotor after following this simulator model with The Crunch and Refense models. Community understanding of the level of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior as well as psychomotor, where after following this simulation model the community can provide assistance and mitigate the impact of the fire disaster in Kuala Dasal village. Abstrak Desa Kuala terdiri dari Kecamatan Merlung, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi, sebagian besar penduduk sekitar 1.012 jiwa adalah suku Melayu. Dari hasil survey terhadap 1.012 penghuni 99,09% tidak mengetahui cara memberikan pertolongan hidup dan penanggulangan bencana kebakaran, sebanyak 0,1% merupakan tenaga kesehatan yang hanya mengetahui cara membantu bencana yang berkaitan dengan hutan kebakaran, tetapi tidak tahu bagaimana melakukan triase korban kebakaran hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model simulasi penanggulangan bencana di Desa Kuala Dasal Kecamatan Merlung, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi. Desain Penelitian adalah Case Study, dengan menggunakan The Crunch and refense models, Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah kuota sampling dengan 100 responden yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan psikomotorik setelah mengikuti model simulator ini dengan The Crunch and refense models. Pemahaman masyarakat terhadap tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku serta psikomotorik, dimana setelah mengikuti model simulasi ini masyarakat mampu memberikan pertolongan dan mitigasi dampak bencana kebakaran di Desa Kuala Dasal.
