Abstract

Motions of a flexible electromechanical structure consisting of two joined beams clumped on a mobile carriage controlled with an electric driver are studied. An optimal control problem is considered to transfer the structure from its initial state to terminal one in a fixed time and to minimize the mean mechanical energy of the beams. The numerical solution of the inverse dynamic problem, which is based on the method of integrodifferential relations and a model reduction technique, is presented and discussed.
