Abstract

In the paper a mathematical model of suspension filtration process in a porous medium, consisting of active and passive zones, is modified taking into account diffusion and dynamical factors. The kinetic equation of particle deposition is generalized taking into account the dynamical factors in active zone. Based on this model, the filtration problem is formulated and numerically solved using the finite difference method. The effect of changes in the kinetics of particle deposition on filtration characteristics is analyzed. The role of the dynamical factors and diffusion on the general process of suspended particles transport has been established. It is shown that dynamical factors mainly affects the transport characteristics and deposition in the active zone and leads to the decrease of concentration of the deposition in this zone.
