Abstract
This research is aimed to present a model of social competences for elementary school students in Jakarta in Indonesia. This survey research distributed the questionnaires to 243 elementary school students in Jakarta in Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research confirmed that a model of social competences for elementary school students in Jakarta in Indonesia proposed was good fit for the data. This study confirmed that social collaboration and social independence has significantly positive correlation with student social competences. However, the association between student social interaction with the student social competences was not supported in this study. In the conclusion of this research, it can be highlighted that the model of social competences proposed in this study can be implemented for elementary school students in Jakarta in Indonesia specifically for the association between social collaboration and social independence with student social competences.
