Abstract
The article presents a model of regulating the heat balance of the body of the reindeer, depending on the animal's behavior, physiological condition and the impact of external factors of weather and solar radiation, are the relevant formulas and the results of the identification experiments. The model can be used to study the exchange of animals and determining the boundaries favorable for their livelihood zones.

Айзенштата [1] для расчета радиационного и теплового баланса животного, норвежскую модель оценки теплопотерь северного оленя П. При отсутствии потовых желез тепловой баланс кожи северного оленя будет определяться соотношением: Rk = Q1 + Qd + Qk, где Qd — тепловые потоки, связанные с пассивной диффузией воды, Qk — конвективный поток тепла между кожей и шерстяным покровом, Rk — радиационный баланс поверхности кожи. Система регулирования теплового баланса в модели построена в предположении, что все механизмы терморегуляции организма животного действуют одновременно, реагируя на дисбаланс величин теплопродукции и теплопотерь. На модели могут быть исследованы процессы регулирования теплового баланса как для отдельных форм поведения животного, так и для комплексов при циклическом повторении форм поведения, характерных для летнего или зимнего сезонов жизни животных.
