Abstract

Education is an institute of society. While entering into new historic environment, education always revises its place and role in society. Development of new information technologies is regarded as a most pivotal characteristic of transitional period to the next social-economic formation. Today it is the Internet which is readily admitted to be specifically instrumental and vital in this environment. The principal aim of this research was to explore the role of the Internet in efforts to transform existing realities during transition to a new social development project - to postindustrialism, and the degree of its impact on education that existing realities are in need of today.
