Abstract

The dynamics of weak finite-amplitude perturbations in a homogeneous gas suspension (reactivegas mixture and chemically inert solid particles) is considered. A weakly nonlinear model takesinto account the chemical kinetics–gasdynamics interaction and dissipative properties. The influ-ence of interphase heat and momentum exchange on the stability of the homogeneous state of asystem is analyzed. For the model kinetics of the reaction, numerical solutions of the evolutionequation are obtained in the form of steady self-oscillations. A sharp increase in the charac-teristic period of self-oscillations and instability suppression in gas suspension with small-sizeparticles are described.
