Abstract

This document presents a distributed model of the transport conveyor. It is shown that the transport conveyor is a special case of a production line. To simulate the transport conveyor, the one-moment approximation was used. The fact that the material moves along the transport route at the same speed allowed to obtain the equations of the distributed model of the conveyor belt in a closed form. Using the transport conveyor model as the base model, a distributed model composite magistral conveyor line is constructed. A general solution is obtained that allows to determine the distribution of materials along the transport route and the output flow of materials from the transport system at an arbitrary time. The solution of the system of equations for the distributed model of a composite magistral conveyor line is analyzed in the case of a constant-speed conveyor. The time delay between the arrival of the material at the inlet of the conveyor line and its outlet from the conveyor is determined.
