Abstract
We study a lattice gas model for the incoherentα-β phase transition in PdH x . The model includes the elastic interaction and a screened Coulomb interaction between protons. The phase diagram of the dissolved hydrogen is calculated with Monte-Carlo techniques and compared with experimental results.
