Abstract

The fractional derivative estimation of the output for a class of fractional order linear systems is investigated in this paper. Firstly, an annihilator is designed in the frequency domain by using Laplace transform, which ensures the unknown initial conditions can be eliminated. Then, the fractional order differentiator is implemented in an algebraic formula using a recursive way. The proposed fractional order differentiator can estimate the fractional derivative of output with an arbitrary order. Moreover, the estimation error is analyzed in discrete noisy case. Finally, to illustrate the performance of the proposed method, numerical simulations are provided.
