Abstract

The Purpose of study is to evaluate the success of rural agribusiness development program(PUAP) and study the social capital of farmer groups in the success of the program in Manokwari. The results showed that the success of the indicator output is achieved; 100 percent of the funds channeled to Gapoktan, while the funds channeled to farmers and farmer groups by 86.53 percent. The accuracy of target beneficiaries reached 100 per cent assistance to farmers fell poor, yet seem to an increase in the ability of the human resource on PUAP assistance. The achieved of the outcome indicators are about 5:45 percent. Farmer groups are successful in both indicators shows that the group dynamics that occur are of mutual trust among the farmers in both the group and to the joint brand of farmer groups, the rules are made together and built a network of relatifly stronger, that are social capital of farmer groups.
