Abstract

In order to examine the construct validity of mobility and lability traits, a number of experimental (psychological), psychophysiological and psychometric measures were used. The tasks were administered to 150 adult females. Each subject repeated 15 measures one by one. A total of 25 scores were derived from these 15 tasks. For validation, correlational (convergent and discriminant validation) and factor analysis methods were followed. A clear pattern of separate constructs was observed from the results. Mobility and lability of the nervous processes emerged as two different temperamental traits.
