Abstract

tactical network scenario mobile nodes are require to attain high degree of mobility without the aid of prior network infrastructure. To access the efficient and reliable communication it must be based on tactic scenario like specified area, task specified unit etc. in real time. The performance of this system in real time is very difficult to do because of it need field test, several hundred devices as well man-power. The evaluation of algorithm and protocol simulation is another alternative to evaluate the performance of tactical network. The simulative performance evaluation relies on models used in the network. This paper basically provides survey and categorization of the mobility model on account of mobility metrics, as well as analysis of those models which meet the tactical scenario requirement tabulated in table 2.
