Abstract
Industrial processes should be capable and controlled. In industrial mass production, however, undesirable deviations regularly occur which must not affect the quality of the finished product. In such cases, a temporarily increased inspection effort can also be justified using industrial CT. Under these circumstances, the test equipment must be available quickly and at a reasonable cost. To achieve this aim, a mobile CT was built and supplemented by a flexible, automatically working evaluation software that was adapted to the specific test task at short notice. The software system is cloud-based and is characterized by very high availability and scalable performance. In combination with a CT available on short call directly on the production line, this solution can quickly check the part quality and provide important feedback for process optimization.
