Abstract
Stones in the surgical remnant of gallbladder (GB) or cystic duct stump (CDS) can lead to post-cholecystectomy biliary type pain or acute pancreatitis; however they are difficult to diagnose. There has not been any prospective study evaluating the role of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) for the diagnosis of stone in GB remnant or CDS. The aim of this study was to assess the utility of EUS in its diagnosis.
