Abstract
Gastric antral vascular ectasia (GAVE) is an infrequent cause of chronic anemia in patients with cirrhosis or autoimmune diseases, especially scleroderma. Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) utilizing the Halo90 device has been successfully used in treating refractory GAVE. The through the scope (TTS) catheter device RFA technique can similarly be useful owing to its design, size and easy maneuverability; however, data on this technique remains scant.
