Abstract

Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (CRT) and surgical resection had been the widely accepted guideline for locally advanced esophageal cancer. However the accuracy of radial EUS re-staging after CRT declined due to fibrotic change of narrowing lumen and invisble viable tumor cell nests. Nutrition compromise also occurred on patients with dysphagia from esophageal stricture.
