Abstract

In a minority of colonoscopies, cecal intubation is unsuccessful. Little is known about efforts made to reach the cecum in cases of incomplete colonoscopy (IC). The primary aim of this study was to determine the differences in endoscope insertion time (EIT) and endoscopes used in patients who underwent a subsequent successful repeat colonoscopy (RC). The secondary aim was to determine the success rate and yield of RC.
