Abstract

Mo plays an important role in modulating the electronic structure of layer double hydroxides (LDHs) for enhancing the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) performance. Herein, CoMn2Mo-LDH/NF electrocatalyst was synthesized through one-pot hydrothermal route. The dopant of Mo boosted valence ratio of Co3+/Co2+, thus improving intrinsic catalytic activity of CoMn2Mo-LDH for OER. Besides, CoMn2Mo-LDH/NF only required 242 mV and ran stably more than 24 h at 10 mA/cm2 for OER. Additionally, it maintained long-term stability over 60 h in 1 M KOH at 10 mA/cm2 for water splitting.
