Abstract
In current research, the synthesis of novel and reusable MNPs@AMTT/Cu(II) as a heterogeneous magnetic nanocatalyst is described. After preparation, the promoting ability of this catalyst was studied for the green synthesis of 2-amino-3-cyanopyridine and α,α′-bis (substituted-benzylidene) cycloalkanone derivatives through multicomponent reactions in the existence of 0.34 mol% MNPs@AMTT/Cu(II) catalyst. The characterization of the reported catalyst was characteraized by by means off Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy dispersive x-ray (EDX), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), x-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The most important features of this new methodology over earlier ones are the easy preparation of the catalyst, short reaction times, mild reaction conditions, excellent yields, and recyclability of the catalyst for a minimum of six runs.
