Abstract

Multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) system is proven to be the key technology for future generation communication system. Latest trend in this field is massive (or large scale) MIMO system. But it comes with additional signal processing complexity burden. Also from the point of view of signal restoration at the receiver side, equalizer plays an important role. Therefore, design low-complex receiver is utmost important. This paper deals with the performance analysis of low-complex loop-reduction-based Lenstra-Lenstra-Lovasz (LLL) algorithm. The performance has been analyzed based on the achievable capacity and bit error rate (BER). As also its performance has been evaluated keeping linear receiver such as zero forcing (ZF) and minimum mean-squared error (MMSE) as references.
