MLOrbital-Electron Capture Ratios inCd109Decay

Abstract

A revised plot is presented of the comparison with theory of precision $\frac{M}{L}$ orbital-electron capture ratios. The experimental points for ${\mathrm{Cd}}^{109}$ and ${\mathrm{Sn}}^{113}$ have been relocated in accordance with the revised calculations of Vatai for $L$ x-ray and $K$ x-ray excape, respectively. From the revised plot, it is clear that there is a systematic disagreement of the experimental $\frac{M}{L}$ capture ratios with exchange-corrected theory.
