Abstract
This paper brings a review of a long-term malacological survey of Peliny, an important Nature Reserve near Choceň town (East Bohemia, Czech Republic). Altogether, 50 mollusc species have been recorded during the last 100 years (representing 21% of the total Czech mollusc fauna). The isolated populations of the East-Alpine Cochlodina commutata, Itala ornata, and Pupilla sterrii were confirmed. The last mentioned species has a single site there within the East Bohemia. Rare woodland species Platyla polita, Daudebradia rufa, and Vertigo alpestris were recorded for the first time.

Molluscs of the Peliny Natural Reserve near Choceň (East Bohemia, Czech Republic). & HRABÁKOVÁ M., 2006: Měkkýši PR Peliny u Chocně [Molluscs of the Peliny Natural Reserve near Choceň (East Bohemia, Czech Republic)]. This paper brings a review of a long-term malacological survey of Peliny, an important Nature Reserve near Choceň town (East Bohemia, Czech Republic). Vzorky byly dále zpracovávány běžnou prosevovou metodou (LOŽEK 1956) a doplněny ručními sběry, které umožňují podchytit nahé plže a dendrofilní druhy, které vzorky nezachytí. Na poměrně malém území najdeme pestrou mozaiku společenstev, mezi nimiž jsou pro PR charakteristická zejména ta, která jsou vázána na opukové skály. Významnými druhy jsou zde především východoalpské prvky Cochlodina commutata, obývající zastíněné skály a Itala ornata, žijící i na osluněných partiích skal, které zde mají izolované.
