Abstract

From a quantitative DTG analysis of the reactivity of iron and molybdenum ions in relation to their lattice site, cationic distribution is proposed for submicronic molybdenum substituted magnetites. The high coercivity of these spinels is found to be related to the important amount of Fe 2+ ions.
