Abstract
The interaction of a photosensitive and surface-active dithiacrown-ether derivative (in polymer-based mixed monolayers) with Cd 2+ from aqueous solutions, which has been found by surface pressure, potential and spectral changes, is promising for future applications in nanosized sensing materials.
