Abstract
The dynamical behavior of the peroxidase-oxidase oscillator is investigated in a continuous-flow stirred tank reactor (CSTR). We studied the region between period 1 relaxation oscillations (P1) and period 1 sinusoidal oscillations (P1 * ) in the neighborhood of a supercritical Hopf bifurcation. Here we present the first experimental observation of a Farey ordered sequence of mixed-mode oscillations and quasiperiodic oscillations in a biochemical oscillator. Model calculations indicate two coupled feedback cycles are necessary to obtain these phenomena
