Abstract
For the mixed Ising spin system with spins S = 1 and R = ½ and that with spins S = 1 and R = 3/2, the Curie temperature T c and the magnetizations 〈S z〉 and 〈R z〉 have been calculated by making use of the four-spin model approximation for various values of the higher-order spin interactions.
