Abstract
In Japan, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has received an order from Kyushu University, for a pressurised hybrid power generation system that integrates a solid oxide fuel cell stack with a micro gas turbine (MGT). The size of the 250 kW system has been significantly reduced, mainly through improving cell stack packing density. Kyushu University will use the system for verification of an industrial-use power generation fuel cell system, beginning in the spring.
