Abstract
Previously, abdominal scars were considered a contraindication to Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound Surgery (MRgFUS) of uterine fibroids, if they were in the energy beam path. The purpose of this study was to assess the clinical potential of an energy-blocking scar patch for MRgFUS of uterine fibroids in patients with abdominal scars.
