Abstract
Love embraces humans completely – their emotions, feelings, cognitive processing, comprehension, intellect, will, acting, and also the spiritual sphere. However, Christian mystique means the immersion of a human in the divine love, not the concentration on the self and self-religiousness. The article describes the contemporary research question based on Christian spirituality in order to present the process of spiritual growing, where love makes the core both in the initial phase of human development and in the climax of the union with God. Starting from the general influence of the mystique into spiritual development, the Author leads readers towards the truth of love which is God.
