Abstract
The state of Mississippi appears poised to appeal a federal judge's latest order in the long‐standing lawsuit over deficiencies in the state's mental health system. At the same time, state mental health officials suggest that the pace of improvements to community‐based care can and will continue regardless of how developments in court unfold.
