Abstract
The Birobidzhan diocese and the Svyato-Innokentyevsky Convent actively interact with the regional mass media. Using various forms, the monastery educates local non-believers. The purpose of this work is to identify the features of the missionary, educational functions of the monastery, as well as to determine their significance for the socio-cultural space of the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Свято-Иннокентьевский женский монастырь, как не только религиозный, но и культурный институт старается транслировать свою жизнь и уклад для жителей Еврейской автономной области. Свято-Иннокентьевский женский монастырь в силу своей немногочисленности, а также материальных и финансовых трудностей может осуществлять миссионерскую деятельность используя интернет-ресурсы, периодические издания, участвую в религиозных медиафорумах. Женский православный монастырь активно участвует в разного рода конференциях, выступая с докладами о своей деятельности и укладе.
