Abstract

To be truly contextualized, Mission History must survey not only the mission field but also the sending field, says Dr. Jenkins, who finds mission history written by missionaries to be one-sided and probably distorted. He calls for a renewed interest in writing the history of the church worldwide from an inclusive viewpoint — the evangelizers and the evangelized.
