Abstract
A Biographical Dictionary of Methodist Missionaries to Japan (1996) was the result of need in the field of church history. We felt the need for a comprehensive, bilingual work. This led to many challenges. A team approach was needed with computer specialists, linguists, and church historians working together. There were many spinoffs as a result of our efforts.
