Abstract
An example of this way of working is an inaugural midwifery workshop that I facilitated. The workshop will bring together midwives from across the State working in public and private practice as well as consumers and demonstrates the core values of midwifery practice in its design, execution and outcomes. Conclusion: The poster highlightsthe collaboration between pregnant women, clinical midwives and the health department as well as increases participants awareness and understanding of advocacy and influence in the national and state policies that impact midwifery practice.
