Abstract

A palynological study of the Ordovician of Quebec has revealed the characteristics of chitinozoan assemblages that lived in regions occupying a low-latitude position. The composition of these assemblages is distinctly different from that of assemblages of the same age described from southwest Europe and North Africa and occupying a higher latitude position.
