Abstract
Abstract Aviation systems are complex and there are still some parts in the puzzle of aviation systems which are not satisfactorily served by the respective research. In the paper, we propose the tracks for future research focused particularly on regional air carriers, investigating business model´s attributes of the biggest regional air carriers in the U.S. The research tracks proposed in the paper are stemming mainly from the diversity of cooperative arrangements between regional and network airlines and emerging cooperation between regional and low-cost carriers as well.
