Abstract Geocalyx Nees is newly recorded from Australia. Chiloscyphus montanus Steph. 1914 (non Col. 1889), C. ramosus Steph. 1922 and G. novaezelandiae Herz. 1935 are regarded as conspecific with G. caledonicus Steph. 1908. 172. For its branching mode and other characters Isolembidium Schust. is regarded as close to Dendrolembidium Herz. and Megalembidium Schust. (Lepidozioideae) and excluded from the Lembidioideae. I cucullatum (Hodgs. 1962) Schust. 1968 is regarded as conspecific with I anomalum (Rodway) c. n. (≡ Lembidium anomalum Rodway 1916). 173. An excellent specimen with many perianths from Yorkshire leg. Teesdale in E was chosen as lectotype of Kurzia pauciflora (Dicks.) Grolle. 174. According to art. 57.1 Lophocolea cavispina (Hook. f. et Tayl. 1844) Fulf. 1976 is an illegitimate superfluous name, which must be placed in synonymy of L. austrigena (Hook. f. et Tayl. 1844) Gottsche et al. 1847.
