Abstract
As an important part of visual culture, especially after its commercialisation, cinema plays an important role in constructing social ideologies. This article will analyse the extraordinary possibilities of mirrors for the spatial shaping, psychological portrayal of characters and the aesthetic construction of cinema with reference to the use of mirrors in the famous Chinese director Wong Kar-wai's film Days of Being Wild.
