Abstract

This report describes two experiments carried out in the artistic project Mirateatro! Study Space and Scenic Creation, coordinated by Prof. Nanci de Freitas at the Arts Institute, UERJ, with the participation of undergraduate students. The show Mirateatro: scene in progress was developed in the scope of metalanguage, aiming at understanding the structural principles of theatrical art. Another performance, Danger area, was conducted around a scenic experience of urban violence through a “collaborative process” in which students participated in all creative stages. The Pro-Rectorate for Community Affairs and Culture allowed research and artistic practice in interdisciplinary activities to happen, contributing to education and social diffusion of artistic experiences
