Abstract

This article examines two reference volumes on the literature of aging and older adults to identify literary works with minority group representation. Forty-two citations offer a set of literary exemplars of the life experiences of representatives of older minority group members. Thematic content of these works are included and the article provides specific suggestions for their curricular inclusion. Appendices include reference to these citations, a list of anthologies in aging and literature, video resource material, and helpful bibliographies. Recommendations for developing ethnic minority perspective curricula in Humanities is included.
