Abstract

RATIONALE: We have previously reported minocycline treatment of allergic asthmatic patients has oral steroid-sparing effects, improves symptoms and spirometry (Daoud, 2008), suppresses ongoing human and murine IgE responses in vivo (Joks, 2008) and in vitro induction of memory IgE responses (Smith-Norowitz, 2002) in isotype specific manner. Effect of minocycline on induced cutaneous allergic inflammation has not been studied.
