Abstract
Biochemist Minoarisoa Rajerison, Head of the Plague Unit, Institut Pasteur, Antananarivo, Madagascar, has lived a remarkable life. Born and raised in a village located in Ambohimanarina, Anta, Rajerison's household consisted of 10 siblings. “My mother passed away when I was in the final year of secondary school. She was my role model due to her perseverance”, reveals Rajerison.
