Abstract

The artistic image constitutes one of the elements of the artistic construction of poetic texts. It has received the attention of poets and critics in different eras, even if the views of critics varied about its concept. The term is in their books, but the student will stand on multiple concepts, as there is no unified definition that has been agreed upon, and perhaps the fault in that is due to their different views and the nature of their critical approaches. An example) comes through two issues: the first concerns the artistic image, where the critics attach the utmost importance to the poetic image in modern poetry, and the second comes from the aspect of modern ٨ poetry. Symbols within the poetic texts, in addition to that, the difference of poetic generations from the pioneers in terms of vision first, and the use of poetic tools secondly.
