Abstract
Discussion of minimum weight design of framed structures under both fixed and independently varying loads; numerical example for two span beam, for which complete solution is obtained, and results corresponding to two types of loading are compared; slightly inexact iterative method for minimum weight design of frame of any degree of complexity.
