Abstract

The minimum transmission time encoding problem is proposed in single-hop multi-rate wireless networks. Moreover, we formulate this problem as a minimum weighted clique partition of graph. The simulation results show that the minimum transmission time encoding scheme can decrease up to 11% and 43% the transmission time than the minimum number of transmissions encoding scheme where node transmits packet with the lowest rate and multi-rate respectively.
