Abstract

This paper deals with the minimum time state regulation problem of finite-dimensional linear time-invariant discrete-time systems in the case where the information of the initial state in some linear space is available. The information can be effectively used to regulate the system fast. In this case, the minimum time controller with time-varying coefficients regulates the system faster than the one with time-invariant coefficients in general.
